I-95 Kittery Bridge Inspection

Kittery ? Crews will be inspecting the Piscataqua River Maine Approach Bridge on I-95 in Kittery Tuesday, October 23rd. This inspection, being conducted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will necessitate the closure of the right lane and shoulder in both the north and southbound directions respectively.

Crews will begin inspecting the southbound side of the bridge at 9 a.m., immediately followed by the northbound side. This bridge is approximately 1500 ft. long.

While some minor delays may be encountered, no major delays are anticipated during this activity as two lanes of thru traffic will remain open.

Variable message boards and additional signage are currently in place to alert drivers on the approach in both directions.

This effort is part of the bi-annual routine bridge inspection program.
