Full Reconstruction of River Road in Windham

Windham ? Full reconstruction of the River Road in Windham is underway. The reconstruction is from the intersection of River Road and Route 202 to the intersection of River Road and Page Road.

Motorists should expect alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the occasional Saturday.

Work includes reconstruction of this stretch of road along with tree removal, clearing, drainage improvements, water main relocation and the construction of a roundabout at Windham Center Road and River Road.

It is anticipated all work will wrap up for the season in late fall and resume in the spring of 2015.

This $6.5 million project is being performed by RJ Grondin & Sons of Gorham.
