Bridge Painting in Hancock and Washington Counties

HANCOCK AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES - The Maine Department of Transportation will be painting bridges in Hancock and Washington Counties. The Hancock County bridge carriers Route 3 over the Mt. Desert Narrows between Trenton and Bar Harbor. The Washington County bridge carries Route 169 over the Baskahegan Stream between T8 R4 NBPP and Danforth. The work is scheduled to begin on June 3rd and be complete by November 15th. The Hancock County work will result in traffic lanes being shifted in June and July. The Washington County work will require a single lane closure with alternating one-way traffic during the day. The contractor on this work is Monoko out of Tarpron Springs, Florida.
