Pre-Apprenticeship Program
We are excited to be able to offer members the opportunity to participate in two pre-apprenticeship programs this season. In partnership with the Association of General Contractors (AGC) Maine and Maine Rural Water Association (MRWA), MCC members can use certifications gained during their MCC service toward AGC and MRWA apprenticeship programs.
MCC members who participate in the MRWA pre-apprenticeship program will have the benefit of direct entry into Water Operator and Wastewater Operator Registered Apprenticeship programs. Members who pursue the AGC pathway will be positioned to enter Registered Apprenticeship programs in Carpentry, Lead Logging Equipment Operator, Arborist, and All Laborer occupations.
