Getting to the Show

Q. How can I receive show news and updates? +

Receive email news alerts and updates by subscribing to or updating your GovDelivery preferences.

Q. What are the Maine Ag Trades Show Hours and location? Is there public parking on-site? +

  • The venue address is 76 Community Drive, Augusta, Maine 04330.
  • The show opens to the public at 9 a.m. daily
  • Public parking is available on site and shared by participants and attendees.

Q. Do people need to register or pay admission to attend the Maine Ag Trades Show? +

  • There is no entry fee or cost to view exhibits or get free business coaching appointments. Most conference presentations, including continuing education credits, are free to attend.
  • Attendees may need to pre-register and/or pay a fee for specific workshops.
  • A voluntary RSVP form is available for show attendees. RSVP by January 1 to get personalized event suggestions from show organizers.

Q. Is it too late to sign up for conference sessions that require pre-registration? +

It varies. The best approach is to contact the group hosting the meeting for more details. Some accept day-of/same-day registration, and others may not.

Q. Where can I stay overnight? +

Accommodations are available within walking and driving distance.


Event Wayfinding

Q. Where do I go for Listening Post business coaching? +

Look for the Listening Post signs. The specific room is Franklin. It is next to the main entry lobby on the first floor. You can reserve an appointment online before the show or visit the room for a drop-in appointment.

Q. Where can I view the list of conference session topics, times, and rooms? +

The show webpage lists the schedule and maps. Visit the info booth for help or to learn about any last-minute adjustments.

Q. Where can I view the participant directory? +

The show webpage lists exhibits, conferences, "Maine Stage," and listening post participants. This information is available to access between shows. Attendee lists are not available.

Q. Where is the bathroom? +

Bathrooms are located near the entrances on the first floor and at the ends of the hallways on the second floor.

Q. Is there a private nursing mother location? +

Yes. The front office (south side of the main lobby) has a private room.

Q. Where is the elevator? +

First floor, north side hallway, near the lobby and Kennebec room. Look for signs.

Q. Lost and found? People and things… +

  • Visit the info booth in the auditorium during show hours.
  • After hours and when the show is over, call the venue at (207) 626-2405.

Q. Can you help me with a parking lot issue (e.g., blocked vehicles, lights on, etc.)? +

Please visit the auditorium info booth during show hours; they will make an announcement. Please try to obtain the plate, make, and model.

Q. How do I share event feedback? +

There are different ways to do this during the show and year-round:

  • At the show: to fill out a paper or digital feedback form at the Info Booth or Listening Post, or conference sessions.
  • Online, anytime: go to the show webpage to share your feedback and ideas.

Q. How do I receive an invite to special activities and events happening within the show? +

A. You should reach out directly to the hosts of those events or sessions to learn more. For instance, some organizations host after-hours networking, meet-and-greets, etc.

Q. What is the cancellation and closing policy?+

A. Typically, the show follows the state office delays and closures. Stay connected: https://www.maine.gov/portal/CAS/

Organizers will make announcements over the auditorium intercom and post a special update on the show webpage.


Food and Drink, Farm Products

Q. Are there Maine products for purchase? +

Yes. Some booths have agricultural products and items for sale. Find more farm products at RealMaine.com.

Q. Is food available to buy and eat at the show? +

Yes. You may purchase food on-site from businesses in the Maine Farm Products Food Truck Showcase. Tables are located in the Cumberland Room, and seats are available in the upper-level bleachers of the auditorium.

Q. Where is the hospitality suite? +

The Listening Post offers limited complimentary beverages and light refreshments in the Cumberland Room; first floor near the lobby.


Questions for Maine DACF

Q. I have a non-trades show idea or question for someone at the Department. How can I share it?+

A. Visit the info booth for assistance. You can leave a message or get help locating the contact information. Several MDACF programs are represented at the show. Depending on the topic, you may be able to discuss your idea or question in person.

In some cases, someone from MDACF may follow up after the show. Use the show webpage or email address for questions about the show: acfagtradesshow@maine.gov.
