Join the Merryspring Nature Center during their Tuesday talk and learn about forest health! Aaron Bergdahl, forest pathologist with the Maine Forest Service, will present the current state of knowledge on the biology of beech leaf disease, a new disease of beech trees that was found in Maine in 2021. He will discuss potential impacts of this new disease on Maine's forests and overview current research on beech leaf disease management.
