Join Waldo County Soil & Water Conservation District and the Maine Forest Service for an interpretive walk through the Terrazza property in Palermo.
Maine Forest Service District Forester Allyssa will guide participants through the field and forest; and offer recommendations for the site. Waldo County Soil & Water Conservation District will provide a demonstration of their Conservation Landscape Certification checklist. Participants will learn about relevant practices, programs, cost-shares, and resources to help woodland owners accomplish their forest goals.
This program is offered in partnership Waldo County Soil & Water Conservation District and the Department of Agriculture Conservation & Forestry: PFAS Fund.
Please note: Additional information about parking one week before the workshop. It is essential that you register. The site has uneven ground and is located off an unpaved road. Please come prepared with closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a bug repellant of your choice.
