Join Joseph Roy, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife's Private Lands Wildlife Biologist for a guided walk and discussion on how different landscapes within a wooded setting can create habitat for a variety of wildlife. Joe will also discuss importance of forested land for wildlife connectivity. Maine Forest Service District Forester Lauren Ouellette will be on site to speak about different forestry practices and management for a healthy and productive landscape.
Participants will need to be able to walk distances and on uneven terrain comfortably.
