When is the deadline for submitting open enrollment changes?

Do I need to submit an enrollment form if I want my coverages to stay the same?
No. You only need to submit a form during open enrollment if you are making a change.

When will the changes made during open enrollment become effective?
July 1, 2014

Can I change my selections after the deadline of May 30, 2014?
Changes are only permitted outside of the annual open enrollment period if you have a qualifying life event. Requests must be received within 60 days of the date of the event (e.g. marriage, birth, etc.).

Do I have to enroll myself in order to cover family member(s)?
Yes. There is no dependent-only coverage.

If I cancel coverage for myself, will my family's coverage also be cancelled?
Yes. There is no dependent-only coverage. (Note: Full-time employees cannot cancel their own dental insurance. This coverage is provided at no cost to you.)

Do I have to cover the same family members on all of my insurance plans?
No. You can cover different family members on each plan.

At what age can I add my child to my dental inusrance?
Your child's 2nd birthday is considered a qualifying life event. You can add your child within 60 days of the 2nd birthday or at any age (up to age 26) during open enrollment.

How long can I keep my child(ren) on my insurance plans?
Up to the first of the month following their 26th bithday. We will offer to continue coverage for up to 36 months at 102% of the premium cost.
