This is a supervisory support services classification involving complex inventory and property management. This requires a strong knowledge of inventory storeroom methods, practices, transporting and shipping methods. Knowledge of purchasing, requisition procedures and the ability to use alphabetical, numerical, chronological and secondary filing systems. Qualified candidates will have the ability to effectively give/obtain basic, non-technical information, communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge of purchasing procedures and the ability to determine condition, quality and quantity of goods. Ability to receive/transport pack/unpack load/unload, assemble, identify, categorize, shelve and store inventory.
In order to qualify, you must have training, education or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates 1) competency in applying a solid knowledge of inventory and property management principles to perform complex work in conducting inventory operations for a warehouse or stockroom and 2) the ability to use independent judgment in handling exceptions to established work assignments, priorities and schedules.
