Value of State-paid Health and Dental Insurance:

  • 100% State Contribution (base salary less than or equal to $30,000.00 as of July 1, 2009)   $356.62 biweekly (Health: $343.33 biweekly / Dental: $13.29 biweekly)
  • 95% State Contribution(base salary greater than $30,000.00 or equal to $79,999.00 as of July 1, 2009)  $339.45 biweekly  (Health: $326.16 biweekly / Dental: $13.29 biweekly)
  • 90% State Contribution(base salary greater than $79,999.00 as of July 1, 2009) $322.28 biweekly  (Health:$308.99 biweekly / Dental: $13.29 biweekly)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is professional social services work in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the delivery of social services through contractors in an assigned program or service area. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, ensuring delivery of program services which involve casework review and amending or approving changes in social services case plans.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

In order to qualify, you must have six (6) years of education and/or professional experience in social services casework, social services program development/delivery, or social services related fiscal/budget administration/analysis work.

NESCESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:  Applicants must have a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license as issued by the Maine State Board of Social Worker Licensure.

*Chapter 10 of the Maine State Board of Social Worker Licensure regulations defines a field related to social work or social welfare as including but not limited to:  “behavioral science, social and behavioral sciences, childhood development, education and human development, mental health and human services, psychology, psychology/educational psychology, rehabilitation services, and sociology.”  The board will consider degrees in other areas on an individual basis.  For additional information on degree requirements, contact the Maine Board of Social Work Licensure at (207) 624-8603.
