This is administrative work of a supervisory nature in overseeing day-to-day operations of a Regional Family Independence Unit and its assigned staff. Responsibilities include monitoring family independence services, interviewing and selecting staff, determining and implementing corrective action plans for individuals and assigning and adjusting workloads and staffing patterns.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelors Degree from an accredited educational institution in Public or Business Administration, Social Work, one of the social sciences, or a related field and two (2) years experience in social services work providing direct assistance to groups or individuals, or deciding client eligibility for financial assistance. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
