State Average Weekly Wage
The Department of Labor’s State Average Weekly Wage (SAWW) is the basis for calculating maximum benefits, annual adjustments and impairment awards. The SAWW as of July 1, 2026, is $1,249.12. The multiplier for annual/cost of living adjustments as of July 1, 2026 is 1.04194054. The following document contains the information necessary to calculate annual/cost of living adjustments pursuant to Title 39-A § 212(4) and/or determine the maximum benefit level for injuries from January 1, 1993.
