ADJUSTER 201 TRAINING
Join us for Adjuster 201 Training on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. EST via Teams. This is a 2.5 hour training focusing on advanced average weekly wage topics. There will be one hour of lecture style training and 1.5 hours of moderated practical exercises. Register online.
MEDICAL FEE SCHEDULE UPDATE– Effective 1/1/2026
In accordance with 39-A M.R.S.A. Section 209-A, the Professional / Appendix II and Outpatient Facility / Appendix IV fee schedules have been updated for dates of service on or after 1-1-2026 (Excel file). FISCAL YEAR 2025 ASSESSMENT RATE
On May 13, 2025, the Board of Directors voted to adopt an assessment rate for insurers of 2.75% for Fiscal Year 2026 beginning on July 1, 2025. For more information, please see the Annual Assessment page.
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS
As of October 25, 2023, an individual who wants to create a rebuttable presumption of independent contractor status may file a statement - Independent Contractor Statement (Form WCB-267) – with the Board. The Board will no longer review or approve Predetermination Applications (WCB-266). More information is available here.
