2024-2027 Unified State Plan
As part of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, the state is required to develop a four-year workforce development plan that identify state goals and strategies for each four-year period. The State Plan was developed by the WIOA State Plan Steering Committee, which consists of members from the State Workforce Board, Maine Department of Labor’s Bureau of Employment Services and Bureau of Rehabilitation Services, Maine Department of Education’s Adult Education office, and the local workforce boards.
The 2024-2027 WIOA Unified State Plan was submitted to the US Department of Labor and US Department of Education for review. We will update this page with additional information as it becomes available.
The WIOA State Plan went out for public comment as required and the public comments can be viewed and downloaded. (PDF)
