The State of Maine, Bureau of Rehabilitation Services (BRS) is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified vendors for a Case Management Solution.

Bureau of Rehabilitation Services Case Management ? RFP #: 201004691

The State of Maine, Bureau of Rehabilitation Services (BRS) is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified vendors for a Case Management Solution. The Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation provide services to assist eligible individuals with disabilities to prepare for, achieve and retain employment in integrated community settings. The Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired additionally provides independent living services and manages the Business Enterprise Program. BRS is seeking a solution that will assist Bureau staff with the case management, fiscal, and reporting activities involved with providing these services. The current case management system, ORSIS, was developed and implemented in the mid-90?s. It is written in Progress and runs on a distributed server system. The age and limitations of the current system have created a need for a new case management solution.

Proposals must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the instructions provided within Section 7 of the RFP and received by 2:00 p.m. EDT, June 15, 2010, at the following address:

A Bidders? Conference will be held on May 26, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EDT. It will be held in the Kennebec Conference Room at the Maine Department of Labor, Central Maine Commerce Center, 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta, Maine. Attendance via conference call will be permitted upon request via e-mail or in writing to the contact person listed below. For those who cannot attend, written questions will be accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified within Section 3.5 of the RFP.
