Regional Forums Highlight Safety Services and Regulations for Municipal Officials
February 9, 2010
The Maine Department of Labor Workplace Safety and Health Division is hosting a series of regional forums to educate municipal officials about safety and health standards pertaining to public sector workplaces.
The discussion will include an overview of regulatory standards, the inspection process, injury and fatality reporting procedures, and free consultation services offered by the SafetyWorks! program.
These sessions are a must for any public sector organization that has not recently been inspected, and it is a good refresher for anyone wanting to keep up with any potential new safety and health issues.
