SKOWHEGAN—More than 20 employers are recruiting at the Skowhegan CareerCenter from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 17. All employers are seeking qualified employees to fill current positions. Job seekers are encouraged to dress appropriately, bring a current resume and be prepared to interview. The CareerCenter is located at 98 North Avenue in Skowhegan.

“Maine had the fourth lowest unemployment rate in the U.S. in March, and over 4,500 more Mainers are working this year versus the same time last year,” said Governor Paul R. LePage. “Employers need qualified people to fill many open jobs, so I urge you to connect with your closest Maine CareerCenter.
