The University of Southern Maine will host three upcoming workshops aimed at helping workers take inventory of their knowledge, skills, and experience to further their college goals.

About Prior Learning Assessment
Prior Learning Assessment awards college credit to potential students for training and skills acquired outside the classroom. The series will be especially helpful for the over 1,000 adult workers who have expressed interest in furthering their education through the President?s Opportunity Training Initiative for unemployed workers.
