Lewiston Area Job Fair Hosts more than 30 Employers on June 6

LEWISTON--Job seekers can meet face-to-face with more than 30 employers at a June 6 job fair in Lewiston. The recruiting event is from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lewiston CareerCenter on 5 Mollison Way. The job fair is open to the public.
?Mainers learn new job search skills when they visit their local CareerCenter,? said Governor Paul R. LePage. ?Workshops facilitated by the Department of Labor?s career consultants provide helpful advice and resources to job seekers, from entry level to executive positions. With monthly job fairs and more than 9,500 jobs on the Maine Job Bank, a visit to MaineCareerCenter.com is where Mainers should start or jump start their career search.?

CareerCenters, part of the Maine Department of Labor, offer a variety of services to help people find employment or upgrade skills. Each center provides several public-access computer workstations with Microsoft Office software, resume writing and cover letter software, Internet access and O*Net software for skills assessment.
