Tri-County CareerCenter Hosting Events in August
BANGOR- The Tri-County CareerCenter, part of the Maine Department of Labor, is holding a series of events and workshops during the month of August.
All events are at the Tri-County CareerCenter, 45 Oak Street, Suite 3, Bangor, Maine, unless otherwise noted. The CareerCenter is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
KidsPeace Recruitment:

Resume Information Workshop:

Learn the basic dos and donts of resume writing, how to use key words and phrases to catch an employers attention, discover websites for skills identification, and learn how to produce a resume that will work for you. Attendees will not have a completed resume at the end of the seminar. Limit 20 slots per session. Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) Presented by A4TD:

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) enrolls qualified older workers in part-time training positions and assigns them to public or 501(c)3 non-profit organizations in the local community. The purpose of the SCSEP is to offer a "stepping stone" back into the workforce. It is a transitional program; positions are not intended to be permanent, all assignments are temporary.
