Board of Occupational Safety and Health to Host Listening Sessions on Proposed Indoor Air Quality Compliance Directive Bookmark and Share

AUGUSTA - The Board of Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and the Maine Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Standards (BLS) Workplace Safety and Health Division invite interested parties and the public to participate in listening sessions on a proposed voluntary compliance directive on indoor air quality.

BOSH regulates and enforces workplace safety and health rules that apply to public employers, including state and local governmental agencies, school districts and quasi-governmental agencies. BOSH is considering publishing a voluntary compliance directive to help public employers monitor and maintain healthy indoor air quality in public workplaces. The proposed compliance directive is based in part on the research and recommendations of the Indoor Air Quality Advisory Group in 2025.
