Maine Department of Labor Publishes 2023 Apprenticeship Report

Out of the past five years, 2023 had the highest growth of new apprentices registered.

AUGUSTA - The Maine Department of Labor has published its latest annual report - https://www.maine.gov/labor/sites/maine.gov.labor/files/inline-files/MAP%20Report%202023.pdf for the Maine Apprenticeship Program - https://www.maine.gov/labor/jobs_training/apprenticeship , detailing Maine's expansion of pre-apprenticeships and registered apprenticeships in fields such as construction and education.

Out of the past five years, 2023 represented the highest growth of new apprentices registered. In 2023, 3,088 apprentices were actively working on industry-recognized skill certifications.
