National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Observed annually in October, National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) celebrates the contributions of America's workers with disabilities past and present and showcases supportive, inclusive employment policies and practices. This year's theme, chosen by the US Department of Labors Office of Disability Employment Policy, is "Advancing Access and Equity" and also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
