Augusta CareerCenter Hosting Hiring Fair on March 25

AUGUSTA Employers will be recruiting at the Augusta CareerCenter from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, March 25, at 45 Commerce Drive Augusta, ME 04333. All are seeking qualified employees to fill current positions. Job seekers are encouraged to dress appropriately, bring a current resume and be prepared to interview. No appointment is required.
"CareerCenter hiring fairs give job seekers in Maine the opportunity to meet employers in person and explore career options," Commissioner Laura Fortman said. "With many different employers participating, job seekers can consider a wide array of potential careers."
Participating employers include: Bonney Staffing, Community Health and Counseling Services, Compounding Solutions, Johnny Selected Seeds, Kennebec County Sherriff, Kris way Truck Leasing, Maine D.O.T., Maine Job Corp, Mainely Eldercare, Manpower, Modern Woodman of America, Motivational Services, National Health Care, People Ready, Pine State Trading, Scribe America, Sebago Brewing Co., SequelCare of Maine, Sheridan Construction, T.W. Paving, U.S Census Bureau, UMA, Uplift, Walmart, Western Maine Behavioral Health, and Woodlands.
CareerCenters, part of the Maine Department of Labor, offer a variety of services to help people find employment or upgrade skills. Each center provides several public-access computer workstations with Microsoft Office software, resume writing and cover letter software, Internet access and O'Net software for skills assessment. All CareerCenter services are free of charge.
