House District

Rep. Christina Mitchell is currently serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives and serves as a member of the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee. 

Christina has spent more than 30 years teaching English Language Learners (ELL) and social studies in Maine public schools grades 7-12 and adult education in Wiscasset, Windham and at Portland High. She has also taught at the University of Southern Maine, Southern Maine Community College and in the Republic of China (Taiwan).

House District

Rep. Julie McCabe is serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives. She is a member of the Health and Human Services Committee.

McCabe holds a bachelor’s degree from Bates College and a master’s degree in government from Johns Hopkins University.

She is a high school teacher in Lewiston and has taught in Maine’s public schools for the past 12 years. McCabe has also served on the Recycling and Waste Management Committee for the City of Lewiston and volunteers as a youth sports coach.

House District

Rep. Rafael Macias is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives and serves on the Labor Committee. A native of San Diego, California, Rep. Macias moved to Topsham with his family in 2007 to work at Bath Iron Works as the pre-commissioning supply officer for a new-construction guided missile destroyer.

Rep. Cassie Julia is serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives. She serves on the Housing and Economic Development Committee.

Rep. Ellie Sato (Sah-Toh) is currently serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives, representing part of her hometown of Gorham. She serves on the Judiciary Committee. 

Sato is proud to be a first-generation Mainer and first-generation American. She graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University Lincoln Center and from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater with a B.F.A. in dance as well as a minor in political science.

House District

Rep. Parnell Terry is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives representing part of Gorham. He serves on the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee as well as the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee.

House District

Rep. Michael “Mike” Ray is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives.

Now retired, Ray has had an extensive working career. In addition to leading kayak excursions as a Registered Maine Guide, he has worked as a carpenter, painter, dishwasher, bus driver and more.

Rep. Ray is an active member of his community, having served on a number of local boards and committees over the last 20 years, including the Lincolnville Select Board, Planning Board, Land Use Committee and Conservation Commission. 

House District

Rep. Dave Rollins is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives. He is a member of the State and Local Government Committee.

Rollins grew up in Augusta and graduated from Cony High School. He then went on to Husson University, where he graduated in 1980. He started his career as a materials purchaser and coordinator for the Bridge Construction Co. He then moved on to work for Campbell Soup Co., where he was employed for 15 years.

House District

Speaker Ryan Fecteau is serving his second nonconsecutive term as Speaker of the House and his fifth nonconsecutive term in the Maine House of Representatives, representing part of his hometown of Biddeford. In his service to the state, he has also chaired the Labor, Commerce, Research and Economic Development Committee and served a term as Assistant Majority Leader. During his first term as Speaker of the House, he was the youngest presiding officer in the United States, and he is the first openly gay Speaker in Maine's history.
