Rep. Sue Salisbury is serving her third term in the Maine House. She is the House chair of the State and Local Government Committee.

A resident of Westbrook for more than 25 years, Salisbury is a small business owner who is actively involved in her community. She has operated a local coffee shop since 2016 and provides food to families in need through her organization, Westbrook Families Feeding Families.

House District

Rep. Sophie Warren is serving her third term in the Maine House of Representatives proudly representing part of Scarborough, her hometown. 

In the Legislature, she has been a strong advocate for the protection of reproductive rights and has worked to pass key legislation addressing climate change and protecting Maine’s natural resources.

Rep. Sam Zager is serving his third term in the Maine House of Representatives. 

Zager is a Secretary of the Navy Distinguished Graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, with an honors degree in history. He attended the University of Oxford as a FitzGerald scholar, completing his dissertation on race and earning a master of philosophy in economic and social history. While in England, he also worked at the U.S. Embassy in London, and was a collegiate rower.

House District

Rep. Sally Cluchey is serving her second term in the Maine House of Representatives. She is also the outreach coordinator for Bowdoinham Community Connections, a volunteer-based program providing individualized support to residents who need assistance accessing community resources, and is a board member of the Bowdoinham Food Pantry, serving as chair since 2019.

House District

Rep. Poppy Arford is serving her third term in the Maine Legislature. She is a member of the Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services Committee, where she has led bipartisan efforts to improve health care price transparency and study a public option for health care coverage.

Arford previously served on the Brunswick Town Council and on Brunswick’s Sustainability Committee. She was named the 2023 Legislator of the Year by the Brunswick-based Independence Association.

House District

Rep. Nina Milliken is serving her second term in the Maine House of Representatives. She serves on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, as well as the House Elections Committee.

Milliken is passionate about confronting the opioid epidemic and holding those who created this crisis responsible, combating violence against women and girls (specifically sexual violence), improving access to legal services for the state’s indigent population and increasing affordable housing across Maine.

House District

Rep. Morgan Rielly is serving his third term in the Maine House of Representatives. He grew up in Westbrook and while at Westbrook High School, he served two years as a student representative on the Westbrook City Council.

House District

Rep. Michel (Mike) A. Lajoie is serving his sixth non-consecutive term in the Maine House of Representatives. 

A lifelong resident of Lewiston, Lajoie is a former small business owner and Lewiston Fire Chief who served the city for over 31 years. He graduated from Lewiston High School and Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute and earned his associate’s degree in fire science from Southern Maine Technical College. He is also a graduate of the Androscoggin Leadership Development Institute.

Rep. Melanie Sachs is serving her third term in the Maine House of Representatives. She is the House chair of the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee.

Sachs grew up in New Sharon and graduated from Mt. Blue High School in Farmington. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Bates College in Lewiston and her master’s degree in science and social administration from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

House District

Rep. Matthew Beck is serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives.

A graduate of State University of New York at Binghamton, Beck worked briefly at a number of radio stations before taking a job first at a local public television station and then at a CBS affiliate.
