Attachment(s):

The Department is proposing to repeal its Occupational Disease Reporting Rules and Regulations (Chapter 254). Public Law 2023, ch. 412 repealed the statute requiring the Department to establish, operate and maintain a statewide occupational disease reporting system. The rule was last amended September 1994 and is now obsolete. Occupational disease reporting may still be required by the Department, as authorized by 22 MRS § 802 and in accordance with 10-144 CMR chapter 258, Control of Notifiable Diseases and Conditions Rule.
