Telework Information for DHHS Staff

Employees of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services have performed work for Maine residents with honor, integrity, and compassion during the COVID-19 pandemic, whether in offices or working from home. As of September 6, 2022, DHHS has transitioned to a permanent telework policy.

The DHHS Telework Approval Form is to be used by (a) current workers changing their telework plan either at their own discretion or at the direction of their supervisor; (b) current workers changing positions within DHHS; and (c) new workers. 

Staff with questions about telework, including submitting forms, should email employeequestions.dhhs@maine.gov.
