Maine.gov Website Largely Restored
AUGUSTA, Maine - The Department of Administrative and Financial Services (DAFS) announced this morning that systems on the Maine.gov website were largely restored overnight.
MaineIT continues to work closely with the website hosting partner this morning to restore the remaining offline services - which include some licensing renewals and various registration portals - as soon as possible.
The interruption in service occurred yesterday afternoon and was the result of a disruption in a fiber optic connection at an out-of-state telecommunications data center that serves as a hub for Maine.gov's hosting partner. The disruption impacted multiple customers around the country.
