BANGOR - Tri-County CareerCenter in Bangor announces June programming for job seekers and those who are considering training to upgrade their skills and increase their employability.

"The summer tourism season provides plentiful opportunities for Maine workers to find jobs best suited to their skills," said Governor Paul R. LePage. "Our record-low unemployment means employers are searching for applicants; I encourage you to visit any CareerCenter for help searching for a new or better job. They will work with you to improve your resume and interview skills."

Resume Information Seminar - Tuesdays, July 3 and 17, 9 to 11 a.m.

Learn the basic dos and don'ts of resume writing, how to use key words and phrases to catch an employers attention, discover web sites for skills identification and learn how to produce a resume that will work for you. Essentials of College Planning and Financial Aid - Fridays, July 6, 13, 20, and 2, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Presented by Maine Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC). Steps for successful college enrollment, types of colleges and trade schools, entrance requirements, readiness and transitional issues of adults, admission requirements and financial aid overview and completion.
