AUGUSTA -- More than 50 employers are recruiting at the Augusta Civic Center from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 as part of Mix Recruiter's Career Expo. Exhibitors are seeking qualified employees to fill current positions. Job seekers are encouraged to dress appropriately, bring a current resume and be prepared to interview.

?Maine?s historically low unemployment and very high percentage of our population working, shows that job seekers who can work, can get a job right now,? said Governor Paul R. LePage. ?Record numbers of new, private-sector jobs were created in 2016 and 2017. Hundreds of excellent employers are recruiting right now at dozens of job fairs this spring and we have more than 12,000 jobs posted on Maine JobLink today. No matter your work history, if you can work and want to work, there is no better time than now to connect with employers. We can help you land that job. Visit mainecareercenter.gov to learn more.?
