RUMFORD?The Wilton CareerCenter is sponsoring a Rumford area Job and Resources Fair on Thursday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at American Legion Post 24, 184 Congress Street in Rumford. More than 20 employers will be recruiting and qualified employees. Job seekers are encouraged to dress appropriately, bring a current resume and be prepared to interview.

?Professional career consultants and business services representatives help connect job seekers and employers throughout Maine CareerCenters,? said Governor Paul R. LePage. ?They offer many job search services and training programs to help Maine citizens gain skills our employers need in this improved economic climate. I encourage those looking for a job and those looking for workers to connect with their closest CareerCenter.?

The Job and Resource fair is presented by Western Maine Community Action, Central Western Maine Workforce Development Board, Wilton CareerCenter and Disability Employment Initiative.
