As part of Wreaths Across America Day, Southern Maine Veterans' Cemetery will be hosting volunteers to assist with the placement of wreaths on gravesites of veterans begining with a ceremony at 12:00 p.m.
Parking at the cemetery is limited, so a free shuttle will be available from Sanford Pride Elementary School (the old Junior High), 708 Main St., Sanford, ME 04073, beginning at 10:00 AM.
The shuttle will be the Bowl-A-Rama bus, proudly operated by Sanford’s very own Owen Martin, who has generously donated both his bus and his time to support the Wreaths Ceremony for many years.
Bus Schedule:
• 1st Bus — 10:00 AM
• 2nd Bus — 10:30 AM
• 3rd Bus — 11:00 AM
• 4th Bus — 11:30 AM
