Join the Maine VA Suicide Prevention Program and the AFSP Maine Chapter for a day dedicated to strengthening connections and advancing suicide prevention across Maine's veteran and military communities.
This conference welcomes veterans, service members, military families, clinicians, and community members who support those who have served. The day will feature a keynote, breakout sessions, a resource fair, and opportunities to connect with organizations providing VA and community-based resources.
One featured session is Talk Saves Lives™: Supporting Our Veterans, an AFSP program that explores the unique experiences of veterans and the role we all play in suicide prevention.

This session explores the unique experiences of veterans and the role we all play in suicide prevention. Participants will gain a better understanding of veteran suicide, learn to recognize warning signs, and discover practical ways to support veterans and connect them with resources.
