Summary: This presentation will teach practitioners to review and understand the process of forensic data extraction and reporting for cell phone evidence.  Formats for discovery requests will be discussed with a particular focus on Cellebrite Physical Analyzer. The presenter will give examples of how defense attorneys have used review techniques to identify the digital data that matters the most in phone evidence and how you can implement these tools and techniques in your next case. 

Faculty Biography: Giselle Pomerleau is the Supervisor of Training and Litigation Support for the Office of the Federal Public Defender, District of New Jersey and has been with that office since 2010. Giselle is a frequent presenter at CLE seminars on the impact of technological trends on criminal defense practice, with a particular focus on the use and impact of technology and artificial intelligence in law enforcement tools.  She has also taught e-discovery management strategies and conducted trainings on the use of digital forensics tools.
