House approves Osher bill to amend the membership requirements of the Board of Pesticides Control

AUGUSTA - The Maine House of Representatives gave initial approval Wednesday to a bill sponsored by Rep. Laurie Osher, D-Orono, that would amend the membership requirements of the Board of Pesticides Control (BPC) to better equip the board to serve its stated mandate and the interests of Mainers more broadly.

Rep. Laurie Osher is serving her third term in the Maine House of Representatives.

Osher serves on the Legislature’s Environment and Natural Resources Committee and previously served two terms on the Legislature's Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee and one term on the Council of State Governments East's Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committee.
