The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced the following updates regarding submission of claims to the HRSA Uninsured Program for COVID-19 testing, treatment, and vaccination services for uninsured individuals:

Effective June 30, 2022, UB-04 and 837I claims submitted without an attending provider will deny.

Effective April 1, 2022, MaineCare will reimburse providers for Medicare-covered services within MaineCare Benefits Manual Chapter III, Section 5, Ambulance Services at 100% of the Maine Medicare area 99 urban, rural, or super rural rate, based on the pick-up location of the member.
