The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Maine CDC) Maternal and Child Health Program has been awarded one of nine highly competitive $5 million State Maternal Health Innovation grants from the U.S.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is initiating a bi-monthly virtual stakeholder meeting series to gather input and inform efforts on the development of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model in Maine. The CCBHC Stakeholder meeting series will be facilitated by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and the next meeting via Zoom, is Monday, November 28, 2022, from 10:30am-12:00pm.

This bulletin provides notice that the Department has initiated a Rate Determination Process* for Distinct Psychiatric Units, Distinct Substance Abuse Units, and Private Psychiatric Hospitals under Section 45 Hospital Services of the MaineCare Benefits Manual.    

New rates are being determined pursuant to the Department’s reimbursement reform and rate determination priorities.
