As open enrollment for Health Insurance Marketplace plans for 2024 approaches its conclusion next Tuesday, January 16, 2024, thousands of new consumers are selecting plans through Maine’s state-based marketplace, CoverME.gov.
As of December 15, 2023, 7,321 new consumers had selected plans, the largest number of new consumers selecting plans by that date in all three years Maine has operated a state-based marketplace. December 15 was the deadline for coverage that started January 1, 2024.

The EVV requirements for Home Health providers delivering services under Section 40 were implemented on January 1, 2023.
We continue to offer weekly provider and aggregator trainings. All trainings are online via Microsoft Teams.
NOTE: The Absorb training system has been updated to allow providers to register for trainings more than once.
EVV Training Schedule
This notification is to advise Section 67 Nursing Facilities (NFs) that several members have had their MaineCare coverage for nursing facility services inadvertently end-dated on December 31, 2023. We are aware of the issue and a resolution is forthcoming.
Section 67 providers can continue to bill for nursing facility services up to December 31, 2023 but should refrain from billing for dates of service on or after January 1, 2024.
