- Registration of a Supervisory Relationship - Go to maine.gov/boardofnursing - and select "Additional Options for Advanced Practice Nurses Only". Supervisor MUST have ACTIVE MAINE license. If supervising provider is an APRN, he/she must have practiced as an APRN for a minimum of 5 years in the same specialty and worked in a clinical health care field for a minimum of 10 years.
