World Trade OpportunitiesAnnual Notice of Intent to Procure This notice is being published in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Government Procurement Agreement. The State of Maine, Division of Purchases, hereby notifies all potential bidders of the possibility that the Office will establish contracts for commodities/services/construction shown below during the calendar year 2004 . Bidders interested in these opportunities should go to the Div ision of Purchases ' home page ( www.maine.gov/purchases ) and click on the button "Vendor Registration". In registering, you will be creating a user - id & password to log into our system to view and respond to our solicitations. The solicitation may go out as a n RFP. In this case, you need only to go to our webpage and click on the button "Request for Proposals". There is no need to register to respond to RFP's . The letters "CB" indicate a contract awarded via a competitive bid procedure with awards generally being made to the low bidder(s) which meet the minimum specifications. The date shown is the approximate month in which the state anticipates receiving bids. The letter "MAC" indicate a multiple award contract where proposals are submitted by multiple vendors and awards are made to all vendors who offer pricing that is deemed to be acceptable by the Office. The date shown is the month in which proposals are normally submitted for consideration. Vendors interested in submitting a proposal for the multiple award contracts should submit a letter requesting a copy of the "Proposal Format and Guidelines for (commodity)." Please note that the months shown are for informational purposes only the state reserves the right to: change the months; solicit at additional times; or decline to solicit with out need for prior notice.
