Homemaker Services (Independent Support Services after 10/01/08)

Bidders Conference: May 20, starting at 2:00 p.m. local time, at the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Elder Services, 442 Civic Center Drive, Augusta, Me (Conference Room 4).

The State of Maine, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking proposals to continue the existing State of Maine Homemaker Program. This state funded program, administered by the Office of Elder Services, assists individuals with household and incidental personal care activities to improve or maintain adequate well being and self sufficiency in the least restrictive environment. Eligible to Bid: Public agencies, government agencies, private for profit corporations, and non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations.

Written Questions: due no later than 5:00 pm local time, May 28. Letter of Intent: due no later than 5:00 pm local time, June 19.

COMPLETED PROPOSALS must be received by, and will be opened no later than, 2:00 pm local time, July 22, 2008 at the following address: Division of Purchases; Burton Cross State Office Bldg (Fourth Floor), 111 Sewall ST; 9 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0009. Proposal package(s) must be labeled with the RFP number and title. We do NOT accept faxed or electronic proposals.
