The Dirigo Health Agency, State of Maine, is seeking fully insured health insurance proposals for the DirigoChoice product and an alternative product. A full description of the requirements and specifications are provided in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP is available on the Agency’s website at www.dirigohealth.com

There will be a bidders conference on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Dirigo Health Agency, 211 Water Street, Augusta, ME. To conference in, the dial in number is 1-719-867-0485 with passcode 888767.

Sealed proposals must be received by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Division of Purchases, 111 Sewall Street, Burton Cross Office Building, 4th Floor, 9 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333. Proposals must include one (1) original and seven (7) duplicate copies. The face of the package, whether mailed or hand delivered, must bear the following legend, Dirigo Health Agency, Request for Proposal #200909526 - Fully Insured Health Insurance Proposal. Proposals will be publicly opened and the name of the bidders announced at the date, time, and location specified above. No other information will be made public prior to evaluation of proposals and contract award notification. Proposals received after the date and time specified will not be considered. There are no exceptions. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
