2008 Landowner Incentive Program Application

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, State of Maine, is seeking proposals under the Maine Landowner Incentive Program for the purchase of conservation easements and associated transaction costs on private lands that support at-risk species and habitats. Only lands occurring within selected Beginning with Habitat Focus Areas are eligible for funding.

Sealed proposals must be clearly marked “2008 Landowner Incentive Program Application” and be received by Friday, July 11th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Division of Purchases, Burton M. Cross Building, 4th Floor, 111 Sewall Street, 9 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0009. Proposals will be publicly opened and the name of the bidders announced at the date, time and place specified above. Proposals received after the date and time specified will not be considered. Proposals shall be made in the format described in the Request for Proposal. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
