PTE Behavioral Health Workgroup

The Pathways to Excellence-Behavioral Health (PTE-BH) Workgroup is part of the Maine Health Management Coalition's PTE public reporting initiative, which seeks to measure and report quality data on primary care medical practices and hospital systems in Maine. Rankings are published on the consumer website, www.getbettermaine.org, in order to help consumers make informed choices about where to seek health care services.

The PTE-BH Workgroup will utilize the already established Pathways to Excellence structure, and will focus specifically on behavioral health quality metrics. In addition to helping consumers find and choose high quality mental health services, the group will seek to align with payment mechanisms with high quality services through the work of the PTE Steering Committee.
