Fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion is critical to the success of our organization. The Department of Health and Human services is dedicated to ensuring our clients receive quality and compassionate service. To level set expectations, the Department offers the CORE: a Culture of Respect and Empathy training program. This two-part foundational professional ethics and diversity training is grounded in fostering a respectful DHHS workplace. Participants are invited to share their experiences to connect with peers and consider life from a different perspective.

The training is two parts: Part 1: View training videos/take notes in your workbook autonomously.

Part 2 Participate in a 2 hour post video training group facilitation session. The facilitation session is an opportunity to expand on the concepts discussed in the video presentation.

Please view the full video training prior to attending the facilitation session. We will discuss the content of the video training during the facilitation, so it is important to complete the video portion prior to attending the group facilitation. The link to the video training and your workbook is emailed to you 2 weeks prior to the facilitation session.
