Portland Press Herald features CRP grantee in Gray

The Portland Press Herald featured the Gray Resiliency Committee’s watershed management plan, which was funded through a grant from the Community Resilience Partnership (CRP).

In 2020, Gray went through the process of joining CRP. In 2024, the town applied for a $49,960 grant. The surveys and outreach conducted as part of CRP showed that one of the town’s priorities that kept coming up the most was water quality, leading to the Resiliency Committee coming up with the idea of the watershed management plan.

CRP is a program in the Maine Office of Community Affairs (MOCA).
