On November 2, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., MOCA will provide an opportunity for the Maine Uniform Building and Energy Code (MUBEC) Board, energy experts, modular manufacturers, and other interested parties to review current manufactured and modular housing requirements, the MUBEC, and the code-adoption process.
The International Code Council (ICC) will share research on industrialized (manufactured) housing regulations in other states, as well as ways states assess the costs and benefits of building codes. Participants will be asked to share input on potential manufactured housing code options.
