Rep. Margaret Craven is returning to the Legislature for her third consecutive term in the Maine House of Representatives, having previously served three terms in the Maine House and three in the Senate. She currently sits on the Health and Human Services Committee and has previously been a member of the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee. Rep. Craven was born in the Republic of Ireland and moved to the United States in 1963. Arriving in Maine, she earned her high school diploma and then bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Southern Maine. She has lived in Lewiston for many years and worked with disabled and senior citizens before retiring in 2005. Rep.
